Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. We do not store card details on our systems. All transactions are encrypted and handled in compliance with PCI DSS standards.
5.8 Price Changes
Prices are subject to change at any time prior to payment being received. Once a deposit has been paid and a booking confirmation issued, the Charter Fee agreed at that time will be honoured, subject to any adjustments required by changes in Spanish tax legislation (IVA).
6. Charter Day
6.1 Departure
All charters depart from San Antonio Marina, Ibiza. The standard full-day charter duration is 8 hours. Half-day charters and sunset cruises are also available, subject to seasonal availability. Start times are available between 10:00 and 14:00 unless otherwise agreed.
6.2 Late Arrival
Guests are requested to arrive at the marina at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Late arrival by the Client will not extend the charter duration. If the Client fails to arrive within 60 minutes of the scheduled departure, the charter may be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.
6.3 Itinerary
Suggested itineraries are provided for guidance. The final route is always at the Skipper’s discretion, taking into account weather conditions, sea state, guest safety, and any applicable port authority directives. Aurora Ibiza cannot guarantee visits to specific locations.
6.4 Return to Port
The Vessel must return to the marina at the agreed time. If the Client requests to extend the charter beyond the agreed duration, this is subject to availability and will incur additional charges at the applicable hourly rate plus fuel.
7. Conduct on Board
7.1 Authority of the Skipper
The Skipper has absolute authority over all matters relating to the safety of the Vessel, crew, and guests. All guests must comply with the Skipper’s instructions at all times. The Skipper reserves the right to terminate the charter immediately and return to port if, in their sole judgement, the behaviour of any guest endangers the safety of those on board, causes damage to the Vessel, or is otherwise unacceptable.
7.2 Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on board:
- Possession or use of illegal substances
- Excessive alcohol consumption that compromises safety
- Jumping from the roof, bow, or any elevated part of the Vessel
- Interfering with the Vessel’s navigation or mechanical systems
- Smoking inside the cabin
- Anchoring over or damaging protected Posidonia seagrass meadows (in compliance with Balearic environmental law)
7.3 Children and Minors
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. The Lead Client is responsible for the supervision of all minors on board. Children’s life jackets are available on request.
7.4 Swimming and Water Activities
Swimming and water activities are permitted only when the Vessel is stationary and the engines are switched off. The Skipper will designate safe areas and times for swimming. Use of Seabobs and paddleboards is at the Client’s own risk.
8. Safety
8.1 Safety Equipment
The Vessel is equipped with all safety equipment required under Spanish maritime regulations, including life jackets for all passengers, fire extinguishers, flares, and first aid kit.
8.2 Medical Conditions
Clients must inform us at the time of booking of any medical conditions, disabilities, or allergies that may affect their participation in the charter or require special arrangements. We reserve the right to refuse boarding if, in the Skipper’s judgement, a guest’s condition poses a risk to their own safety or that of others.
8.3 Non-Swimmers
Non-swimmers are welcome on board but must wear a life jacket at all times when on the open deck. Please inform us at the time of booking if any member of your party cannot swim.
8.4 Emergency Procedures

9.2 Date Modifications
Requests to change the charter date are subject to availability and must be made at least 30 days in advance. A date change fee of €150 may apply. Date changes requested within 30 days of the charter date are treated as a cancellation under Clause 9.1.
9.3 Cancellation by Aurora Ibiza
We reserve the right to cancel or modify a charter in the following circumstances:
- Adverse weather conditions or sea state deemed unsafe by the Skipper or Spanish port authorities
- Mechanical failure or damage to the Vessel that cannot be resolved in time
- Government restrictions, port closures, or Force Majeure events
- Failure by the Client to pay the balance by the due date
Where we cancel a charter due to weather or Force Majeure, we will offer the Client the choice of a full refund of all sums paid or a credit to rebook on an alternative date, subject to availability. We shall not be liable for any consequential losses (including travel, accommodation, or other costs).
9.4 Weather Policy
The safety of our guests and crew is our absolute priority. The Skipper will assess weather conditions on the morning of the charter. If conditions are deemed unsafe for departure, we will contact you as early as possible to discuss your options, which may include a modified itinerary, rescheduling, or a full refund. If we depart and conditions deteriorate, the Skipper may shorten the route or return to port early for safety reasons. In such cases, a partial refund or credit may be offered at our discretion.
10. Liability and Insurance
10.1 Our Liability
Aurora Ibiza carries comprehensive marine insurance for the Vessel and third-party liability. Our liability is limited to the total Charter Fee paid. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of enjoyment, travel costs, accommodation, or other expenses.
10.2 Your Liability
The Lead Client is responsible for any damage caused to the Vessel, its equipment, or furnishings by any member of the charter party. You will be liable for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
10.3 Personal Belongings

10.4 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation, medical expenses, personal belongings, and any other risks associated with your trip to Ibiza.
11. Damage and Security Deposit
Aurora Ibiza reserves the right to request a security deposit via pre-authorisation on the Lead Client’s credit or debit card. The amount of the security deposit will be communicated at the time of booking. The pre-authorisation will be released within 7 business days of the charter, provided no damage has occurred. In the event of damage to the Vessel or its equipment caused by the Client or any member of the charter party, the cost of repair or replacement will be deducted from the security deposit. If the cost exceeds the deposit amount, the Client will be liable for the difference.
